WET WALL-MOUNTED HEATING

Offer of locking ribbons with dimensional alternatives of 63 mm and 75 mm allows installation of the wet wall-mounted heating system. For this purpose the PEX pipe is used, i.e. 16×1.8 with an oxygen barrier EVOH or metal-plastic pipe 16×2. Long-term tests have not proven any aeration of wall-mounted systems with pipe of dim. 16mm. Meanders must be placed horizontally by reason of significantly lower pressure losses. Ribbons are anchored to the rigid wall in vertical position with 0,5m spacing and insulation is placed between them. Pipe meanders are subsequently created. Rabitz netting is arranged over the system and two-coat lime-cement plasters are made. Should the walls heated be longer than 6m and the plaster cement, it is necessary to dilate it. Total radiation output depends on the mean surplus temperature of the medium, however, available output for a particular side of the wall depends on the heat penetration coefficient of the particular wall, see graph H. The rest of the total energy radiated penetrates to the other side of the wall and must be taken into account as thermal gain or loss. Wall-mounted heating is therefore recommended rather for interior walls of buildings.
