RADIATOR HEATING

Radiátorové vytápÄ›ní 1Our system specially focuses on radiator distributions of radiators in constructions, principally using axial pressed joints. For this purpose the company supplies special manual or electro-hydraulic tools and a comprehensive set of fittings (see elsewhere). In addition to traditional nickel-plated copper radiator L and T connectors of 16 and 20 dimensions, the system also includes T radiator connectors of dimension 23. The REVEL Company also offers boiler connectors for suspended sources including a transition piece with internal thread of 3/4“ (set RL91). These connectors form a blind two-circuit divider in the floor offering an aesthetic solution for multi-floor systems. If the designer wishes to use single circuit only, the other outlet is closed using pipe and plug, or connectors RL257 and transition piece RL99 are used at lower output transmitted. The company has extended its assortment by brass connectors in shape “U” enabling connections of VK bodies as well as copper convectors from walls. However, they are to be placed into protectors by reason of dilatation movements with floor-wall contact. If a customer requests custom connectors of modified shape for specific projects, the company is able to prepare them within 10 days. It is also possible to replace relatively expensive radiator connectors with metal-plastic. REVEL supplies special lengthwise designed thermoregulation valves with Euro-type cone of DIN type (RL315). The system allows utilization of any valve manufactured abroad. However, those valves must be provided with the transition piece to appropriate connecting pipe, if not already included.   Radiátorové vytápÄ›ní 2 Fitting for transition to 15 mm diameter pipe from internal thread of 1/2“ (RL99) is used for connection of VK Radik bodies (without “vekolux” fittings) and REVEL convectors. On request of assembly companies the system includes transition from radiator connector to KERMI (RL92) body. The corner transition piece RL314 is primarily used for connection of the return branch of classic heating bodies as a substitute of screwed connection. Owing to the dimension of adapting piece and lengthwise modification of thermostatic valves offered by the company there is no need to perform bending of connectors. Copper semi-hard pipes stiffen during galvanization and certain percentage of those pipes may break in case of complementary bending. The company does not assume responsibility for such a damage of the connector. Owing to this fact we recommend to use valves supplied with the system. The valves are preset (see graph characterization). Special thermostatic head with REVEL print of the DIN type is designed for valves RL315 or RL362, and is also compatible with valves of the VK Radik bodies and some other ones (DIN type valves). Instead of thermostatic heads also the thermo-drives RL23 (230V) or RL430 (24V) may be used for DIN type valves, of course in connection with appropriate electrical regulating system. Offer of the system includes corner fittings and direct fittings with closings for connection of VK bodies from the floor and the wall. The fittings are provided with a Euro-type cone end for all foreign types of VK bodies. For connection of VK Radik bodies it is necessary to purchase RL9 transition piece for internal thread of 1/2“. Radiators are usually connected by nickel-plated copper connectors, however, direct connection of radiators from the wall e.g. with utilisation of metal-plastic. The company also offers a fitting for connection from the wall under designation RL385 and RL386. This fitting is pressed onto the pipe and the other end with 15 mm diameter replaces the radiator connector. It is forbidden to replace copper radiator connectors with steel ones, which impair system lifetime and even aesthetics, while delivering minimum financial savings.
